0Visit of PP Muhammadiyah to the Embassy of the PRC - China June 07, 2024

Rector of Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku (UMMU) Prof. Dr. Saiful Deni attended the invitation of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China (PRC) to visit his country.

Not only to fulfill the invitation to China, this visit was also a manifestation of the relationship between China and Indonesia in establishing brotherhood. A total of 17 representatives consisting of General Secretary of PP Muhammadiyah Abdul Mu'ti, Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Saad Ibrahim, Prof. Dr. Saiful Deni, Muhammadiyah Regional Leaders, and also from 'Aisyiah.

The delegation departed from Soekarno Hatta International Airport on Friday (7/6) early morning.

Then, Prof. Dr. Saifil Deni and his entourage made a transit at Baoan Airport, Shenzhen to continue their journey to Urumqi in Xinjiang.

Upon arrival at Diwopu Airport, Urumqi, the group was welcomed directly by the Official of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region United Front Department, Elijan Anayat to be escorted to the inn.

The plan for this seven-day visit will be filled with several agendas that will be followed by delegation members such as visits to the Anti-Terrorism and Deradicalization Exhibition, Museums, Islamic Study Centers, Technology and Science Centers and historical and cultural places on the Juyongguan Great Wall.

The Rector of Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku, Prof. Dr. Saiful Deni, is one of the representatives in attending this visit.
